About the event

The colors of the plant world can be brought to a broad array of natural fiber fabrics, through plant dying. In this workshop you will be dying cotton and silk with late Summer dye-stuffs. Each person will dye at least, and one scarf length of silk, one apron, a set of 4 squares, 18” x18”. These can be bandanas, napkins, curtain starts, quilt squares or something else that you dream up! All these are included in you materials fee. There is a follow-up workshop offered on block printing, in case you want to bring further design to your dyed fabrics.
